There’s a word that always comes up whenever Liddy Clark talks about her music – “connection.”
An old soul with a Gen Z birthday, her songwriter roots intertwine with a breezy west coast chill vibe grounded by earthy tones. Clark is an American multi-genre singer, songwriter, musician, actor, and model. Her music spans different genres, including Pop, Folk, Indie Pop and Country. She is currently based in Los Angeles. Born in Texas and raised in Florida, she began her professional career at the age of 9 when she signed with her first talent agency in Miami. Highlights included modeling (American Girl, Scholastic Book Club), acting in commercials (Fox’s X Factor’s first commercial with Simon Cowell), and performing in Equity Theatre (Actor’s Playhouse on Miracle Mile). But everything changed at the age of 12 when she wrote her first song.
Instantly obsessed with the new connection between her soul and the page, Clark started honing a gift for beautifully nuanced lyrics, both catchy and wise beyond her years.
As a Taylor Guitar artist, Clark’s music has been recognized and featured by Rolling Stone, People, CMT, ACM, CMA, iHeart Radio and SiriusXM. She has been hailed as an “Artist to Watch" by AXS, ET and Young Hollywood, and she has been featured in PopStar!’s “On The Radar” series. Moreover, Billboard included her in their "New in 2023" feature.
“I’m no longer focused on being perfect and saying the right thing in every song, or scrutinizing everything I do,” Clark explains. “I’m focused on connecting with people and creating that bridge between me and the audience, creating that feeling of knowing you’re not alone.”
With over 2 Million Spotify Streams on her debut album "Made Me," she has also garnered over 5 Million TikTok Views on her single “We Both Know” and has been featured on many Spotify Editorial Playlists, such as Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Country, Fresh Finds Nashville, Nashville Stripped, Next from Nashville, Country Christmas, Young Nashville, and Wild Nashville. Clark also contributed a mystical rendition of “Do You Hear What I Hear?” to the Cracker Barrel exclusive Country Faith Christmas, Vol 2, joining the likes of Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Darius Rucker and Brenda Lee on the album’s track list.
Additionally, Clark boasts an impressive following of over 500K on social media, has over 75K followers on her personal “we’re just friends” Spotify playlist.
Now with her first full-length album under her belt and new music being released, one thing remains true: Liddy is continuing to forge ahead to build lyrical connections in a desperate world.
“Honestly I feel like it’s my own therapy session when I write a song, because I tend to bottle my emotions up,” explains the singer/songwriter. “Being able to write a song about it and figure out what I’m feeling as I write it - and then use that to connect with others - that means everything to me.”
“self care: side a” EP, released 2024, is the first half of Clark’s sophomore album “self care” being released 2025. “self care: side a” has already received significant recognition with the second track “my best friend’s getting married” honored with First Prize in Pop and Third Prize OVERALL in the 2024 USA Songwriting Competition and the fifth track “evergreen” placing as a Finalist in Folk. The fourth track “anxiety’s a bitch!” has been featured on HITS 1 HITBOUND Channel on SiriusXM.
Clark’s solely written original “It’s Christmas Time” hit Top 15 on the Holiday Chart (Media Base) in 2023 and Top 15 on the What’s in-Store Holiday Chart (Media Base) in 2023 and 2024.
Clark is a member of the Recording Academy Class of 2024 and a graduate of the Thornton School of Music and the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California in 2021 (Magna Cum Laude).
She has performed at iconic venues such as the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN, The Hotel Café and The Peppermint Club in Los Angeles, CA, the iHeart Stage in NYC, NY, and The Amp in Vail, CO for “Elevation at Beaver Creek" @liveinthevineyard. Clark has also performed as an opener/VIP room/side stage for artists such as Chris Stapleton, Dan + Shay, Echosmith and Michael Franti.
But really, it’s all just a means to a different end - one that sets her old soul free.
“I just want to be a source of comfort and connection for people, because that’s what music is all about, “ she says. “It’s finding that rhythm and that vibe that people from all different backgrounds can listen to and be on the same page. I just want to inspire that.”
When she's not captivating audiences with her music, she enjoys savoring a glass of red wine and watching a good movie with her rescue cat “Croutini” - the cutest cat ever!
